Following the enactment of Government Regulation No. 17/2025, Indonesia has begun pilot-testing its “Child Protection in Digital Space” (PP Tunas) framework. Scheduled for full enforcement on March 1, 2026, the regulation mandates age-assurance mechanisms and restricts data profiling for minors.
